Absolutely disgusting

I arrived at 3.20pm expecting my room to be ready as I was told it would be available from 3pm. I had to wait in a freezing cold dining room for 20 minutes. When I got into my room it was also freezing cold. In the morning when I flushed the toilet everything came bubbling up into the shower tray. I've never experienced anything so disgusting. I would not recommend this hotel.

I booked to stay here for new year, why the hotel itself is in a great location, easy to find and with parking, the room very disappointing. The toilet was not attached to the floor, the shower doors didn't close at all and the shower itself had little to no pressure, the bathroom was covered in paint on the floor, there was mould everywhere. The list is endless and then to out right deny any partial refund is a kick in the teeth. I would not recommend this hotel and I will be leaving the same review on trip advisor. I also have pictures and videos (unable to upload videos due to file size) to back up all comments I have made above.

A decent hotel for a 2 night stay for Hogmanay with my best mate. Very handy for the city centre by bus or walking. Hotel a little bit dated but the room and facilities were clean which is all you ask for really! Can’t comment on breakfast as didn’t have it but communications with the hotel leading up to stay and details on access code were clear.

Prior to visit we had a potential emergency and wanted to contact hotel to see if we could refund or change dates but had no response to numerous calls and emails. On arrival nobody present , again no answer on phone but after 20 mins a cleaner appeared so we could leave luggage and check in later. Our room was basic, crumbs on the carpet and pillows smelt. The bathroom was disgusting with broken fixtures and fittings, visible mould on the ceiling and the shower was a Luke warm trickle at best and the shower doors did not shut and were off rails. This stay was not cheap and I don’t feel it was value for money at all. The only positive I can give is the location with a bus stop directly outside and easy access to the centre

Hotel is actually much nicer and brighter than the photos on the website suggest. Reception was pretty much none existent and the shower was no more than a trickle. On the plus side, good value for money and great location yo walk into the city centre. The option of breakfast would have been good although the excellent Wee Cafe just up the road did an excellent eggs benidict which more than made up for it. I will definitely stay again mainly due to the location
